Why this page exists
Japanese consumer rules ask businesses that deal with the public at a distance to say clearly who they are and on what terms they trade. A house or a plot is not sold through a web page, so the usual items such as shipping and returns do not apply. We still publish the page, because a visitor deciding whether to write to us should be able to see who is behind the website, where the office is and what is not yet confirmed.
What you should receive before any real estate contract
If a transaction ever goes ahead, the licensed company handling it must give you, before the contract is signed, a written explanation of important matters (重要事項説明書), delivered and explained by a licensed real estate transaction specialist (宅地建物取引士). It normally covers the legal rights attached to the land and building, restrictions under zoning and building law, the state of roads and utilities, the price and other amounts payable, how the deposit is handled, and the conditions for cancellation. Please read it slowly and ask about anything you do not follow. Nothing on this website replaces it.
Advertising of specific properties
Advertisements for particular homes or plots must show the licence details of the company responsible and must not exaggerate. This website does not advertise any specific property. If we ever add one, it will carry the address, price including tax, area, the date the information was checked and the licence number.
How we handle enquiries
Enquiries sent through the form, by email or by telephone are answered during business hours. We tell you plainly whether a project is open to enquiries, whether the company named in the reply holds the licence, and what the next step would be. You can stop the conversation at any time without giving a reason. How we treat the details you send is explained in the privacy policy.
